David says Joe M stardom is “intense.”
Apparently under the delusion that someone other than him actually watched The Next Joe Millionaire, cowboy David Smith says that his stardom is “very intense. But,” he tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, “I’ve gotten somewhat used to it after getting off the plane, being on the red carpet, doing interviews and taking millions of pictures. Now, I really feel for those movie stars like Tom Cruise because your privacy is lost.” Someone’s been playing make-believe with his My Little Red Carpet kit. David’s new publicist, Jimmy Villarreal, is feeding the delusions. Jimmy says that “David really stopped traffic” in LA recently (maybe he was standing in the road?) and suggests “the trademark that sets David off is his cowboy hat” (because there are only a couple other washed-up reality TV stars who wear cowboy hats, like The Real World’s Jon). Jimmy is currently shopping David to a diverse group of shows that all involve cowboys or country-western themes.
