“It’s very unfair for people to make these women out as gold diggers,” the “host” of Joe Millionaire says. Former Trading Spaces host Alex McLeod, saying more than she’s said on her entire new series so far, tells the New York Daily News that they weren’t “20 gold-digging ho’s in search of alimony payments” because they didn’t know of his millionaire status until they arrived. Also, Alex says of her blank look, “If I look a little shell-shocked in the first couple episodes, it’s because not only do I send them packing in the middle of the night, but I also have to look them in the eyes.”
