Evan trained as a pro wrestler; is he the Marriott hotel fortune heir?
Joe Millionaire Evan Marriott is, we’ve learned, a bit more than just a construction worker (recap: he’s soap actor, underwear model, regular model, Suburban driver). Now it’s apparent he may have once trained to be a professional wrestler. Ultimate Pro Wrestling’s site has a page for Evan—although they spell his last name wrong, a photo definitely looks like him—in its “inactive” superstars section, and the organization’s owner says Evan “was one of the 4 or 5 most natural guys we’ve ever trained. If he decides to continue to pursue wrestling, I have little doubt that he’ll be a big success in the business.” Also, there are questions about whether or not he’s the heir of the Marriott hotel fortune. Apparently on ET Evan said that no one in his “immediate family” was related to the hotel chain, and this profile of him says he used to joke about it.
