Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino wants to be an actor, says, “I’m like the reality king”
Here’s one reason why a second season of Jersey Shore with the same cast may be a very bad idea: Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino already has such an inflated sense of self—even more so than on the show—that he wants to be an actor and considers himself “the reality king.” Ugh.
Also, as we know, he’s an expert orator, telling TV Guide in an interview. “There’s a lot of things in the works for me” and “There are so many things coming out for myself.”
Those things coming out for himself include an appearance at the Super Bowl. He also said, “you might see a workout video, you might see a book.” (Speaking of working out, he also responded to accusations that he uses steroids: “No way. I’m 100 percent natural. I just have very good genetics. I’ve had a six-pack since I was little, and even if I miss the gym, the six-pack is always there.”)
The Situation continued, “Right now I’m just taking over the reality world on this first season so I guess you could say I’m like the reality king. After that, maybe one or two more seasons max — but once you do something like that and you’re on top, you do want to move on and graduate to the next level. I’d like to do some acting and maybe even some TV or film but we’ll see.”
Actually, I probably think—hope?—we won’t see.
