China is getting not one but two Apprentices, although one will be a knock-off and the other will actually be produced by Donald Trump.
Wise Man Takes All “was inspired by The Apprentice and backed by Trump’s business partner, Vincent Lo Hong-sui,” the AP reports, and it will have “a cash prize of about $123,400.”
But now Trump himself is getting into the game, producing a version of his stateside hit that will be fronted by “Beijing property mogul Pan Shiyi,” the AP says, citing a report in yesterday’s South China Morning Post. That report noted that “China’s version would closely follow the U.S. original.”
