Joe Millionaire, Temptation Island, and other FOX shows are heading overseas.
The second season of Joe Millionaire may have crashed and burned in the US, but that didn’t stop FOX from selling the format to more than 22 other countries. Additionally, FOX “is finalizing negotiations in 12 territories for local versions of My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance and has placed Temptation Island in 14 countries,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. This is apparently revenge for other countries sending us their reality TV shows. FOX World VP says, “We want to make the point that our American-produced reality shows are now big business in the foreign markets.”
