France’s prime minister not happy with reality TV show that follows politicians.
France’s TF1 is planning to air 36 Hours, a reality TV show that will follow a politician who spends a day and a half with a family. However, France’s prime minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin isn’t thrilled that Jean-Francois Cope, his spokesperson, will be the star of the first episode. The BBC reports that “aides to Mr Raffarin said that the prime minister did not ‘appreciate’ this kind of show and thought that ‘putting politics on stage is counterproductive.’”
