ArchivesCanadian Idol renewed for next summer.
Canadian Idol will return for a second season. All of the original cast will return, including judges Farley Flex, Jake Gold, Sass Jordan, and Zack Werner, and host Ben Mulroney. Auditions will likely take place in nine cities, the Globe and Mail reports, and then the show will air next summer. The first Canadian Idol, Ryan Malcolm, will compete on Christmas day as part of World Idol. That show will also feature a guest appearance by Elton John.
