Academy tries to figure out how to deal with reality TV for the Emmys.
Should reality TV shows be included in the “outstanding nonfiction program” category and face off against A&E’s “Biography” during the Emmys? Or should a new category be created? Those are some of the questions the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is currently asking as they look at how to include reality TV shows in their nomination categories.
