Blagojevich can’t be on I’m a Celebrity, judge says
Rod Blagojevich will not become a cast member on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here 2 because a judge has denied him the ability to leave the country to film the series.
U.S. District Judge James Zagel said, “It’s way too soon. I don’t think this defendant in all honesty … fully understands the position he finds himself in. … I do not have confidence that things will not go astray if I modify bond conditions.”
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Blagojevich “stood to make as much as $123,000 from the show, according to a defense motion.” On his way into court, Blagojevich said, “I have to do it for my kids. I have to support my family.” His response after the judge ruled was: “It’s another day in the city.”
With Blagojevich out, that leaves a cast of has-been reality stars as the only confirmed cast members for the summer series.
