I’m a Celebrity will return to ABC this fall starring the children of celebrities.
In an apparent attempt to solidify its reputation as the network that airs sucky reality TV shows, ABC has ordered another 10 episodes of I’m a Celebrity—Get Me Out of Here, despite the fact that the first season tanked in the ratings because it was so awful. However, ABC is changing the format slightly, using the children of celebrities instead of the celebrities themselves, a blatant but lame-ass attempt at copying The Simple Life. Ananova even reports that Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are “high on the list of possible contestants.” I’m a Rich Kid—Get Me Out of Here will air in December.
