A producer of the UK’s I’m a Celebrity—Get Me Out of Here says the Australian location where the both the latest UK show and the US version were filmed is “a film set.” Besides a roof that was added when US celebs complained about the rain, “the show’s secret set includes plastic flowers, fibre glass rocks and a canvas roof to protect the stars from the worst of the rain,” according to Ananova, which reports on The Sun’s interview with producer Alex Gardiner. The location is also not remote. Gardiner says, “There is nothing natural or real about the camp—it’s a film set.”
