CBS “[threatens] legal action” over ABC’s plans to air I’m a Celebrity…
Days after Castaway Productions challenged the UK’s I’m a Celebrity—Get Me Out of Here, saying the show infringes upon its Survivor brand, CBS is threatening to sue ABC over that network’s plan to bring the show to the US. CBS told ABC that they “have until Wednesday [today] to promise, in writing”, that they won’t air the show or anything like that.
