ArchivesMonday’s finale of I Love New York 2, during which New York selected Tailor Made (who she’s now living with), was watched by 5.4 million viewers. That helped make this season “the third-highest-rated season of any VH1 series ever and ranks among the top 10 basic cable series year-to-date,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The finale ratings were “up 23% from its first-season finale in April,” and th episode “was the most-watched nonsports program in cable Monday in total viewers and 18-49,” the paper says. Of the finale’s viewers, 3.6 million were ages 18 to 49, an increase of 26 percent from the first season’s finale.
That’s also a significant increase from the penultimate episode last week, which was watched by 3.6 million people, according to Nielsen.
