ArchivesWhen Tango dumped New York on the I Love New York reunion, he made a second season of the show possible. Now, a casting notice posted on Reality Wanted is advertising for a second season of the show, searching for straight men who are ages 21 to 36 and have “extreme personalities.”
That certainly fits the show, although the casting notice doesn’t exactly work to convince us of its legitimacy. It’s written in all caps, includes run-on sentences, asks would-be New York suitors to send e.mail to a Yahoo address, and starts by addressing “my fellow sexy single men.” Yeah.
In addition, VH1 has yet to renew the series or even suggest that it would. However, since its finale was VH1’s second-highest-rated finale ever, that wouldn’t be a surprise.
Here’s what it says:
HEY MY FELLOW SEXY SINGLE MEN. YES IT’S OFFICIAL I’M CASTING SEASON 2 OF “I LOVE NEW YORK”. I’M CASTING ALL TYPES AND ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS. MY BREAKDOWN IS THIS AND PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT UNLESS YOU FIT THE BREAKDOWN AND FOLLOW SUBMISSION GUIDELINES.STRAIGHT MEN AGES-21 TO 36
