ArchivesContestants from VH1’s trashy faux-romance shows—Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Rock of Love—will compete together in a new spin-off as VH1 attempts to squeeze every last bit of entertainment out of the franchise’s cast members, and lets them finally admit they’re in it for cash, not love.
I Love Money debuts July 13, and “features past contestants … squaring off against one another in a series of reality show competitions,” Variety reports, noting that “the series was quietly shot a few weeks ago.” The structure of the competition isn’t clear, but as its title suggests, they will compete for “cash prizes.”
There’s no word yet about which contestants will appear, although a casting special airs July 6, and the new series will be hosted by MTV’s Alani “La La” Vasquez.
