High School Reunion

TV Land will bring back High School Reunion in March

In March, more than three years after its third season aired on The WB and more than a year after TV Land subtly announced its eventual return, High School Reunion 4 will debut.

TV Land’s web site for the series says that “[m]ore than a dozen classmates from the 1987 graduating class of J.J. Pearce High School in Dallas, Texas reunite after 20 years,” and that’s a change from previous seasons, which reunited classmates after about 10 years (although some were from different class years).

The network has revealed the 15-person cast, which includes eight men and seven women, and they are presumably in their late 30s or even early 40s. Considering that most reality series tend to cast younger participants, that should make for an interesting dynamic. So should the fact that the cast includes two people who were once married, Mike and Lana, and are now divorced, in part because Mike’s best friend had an affair with Lana—and the best friend, Steve, is on the show, too.
