The Jock’s dad: “there’s some stuff … a parent just doesn’t want to know.”
Maurice Possley is the father of Dan Possley, better known now as “The Jock” on High School Reunion. And as a reporter for The Chicago Tribune, he’s writing a weekly column about the show and his perspective as the father of a participant. On the debut episode Dan wasn’t featured, but in his first column, the dad said the experience was becoming “an agonizing ordeal … there’s some stuff, that even if true, a parent just doesn’t want to know.” While watching a scene from this week’s show, his son said, “If they show that, who knows what they’ll show?”
