Hell’s Kitchen ratings up 10 percent; Rock is moving to Las Vegas
The finale of Hell’s Kitchen 3, on which Rock won his own restaurant, was watched by 9.8 million viewers, making it “the night’s No. 1 program,” Variety reports.
The show also did well in certain demographics; among younger audiences ages 13 to 34, “it beat the combined scores of ABC, CBS and NBC.” Overall, the series “finished up about 10% vs. last year in both adults 18-49 (4.1/11 vs. 3.7/10) and total viewers (8.6 million vs. 7.8 million),” according to Variety.
Meanwhile, on FOX’s web site, Rock and Bonnie chat about the show in several videos, and among other things, Bonnie insists, “I am not getting breast implants.” Rock says he’s taking the prize and his family is “moving to Vegas, and everybody’s excited.” Bonnie seems to be taking the loss very well, saying, “I never came on the show to win. … I wanted to learn. … I learned so much; it’s increased my skill infinitely.” As to her plans, she says, “I’m still with my family. I’m looking for little side ventures.”
