Hell's Kitchen 3

Hell’s Kitchen 3 concludes tonight

The third season of Hell’s Kitchen concludes tonight at 9 p.m. ET, as Gordon Ramsay decides whether Rock or Bonnie deserves to be the head chef at a Las Vegas resort’s restaurant—or whether he’ll give them some completely different prize instead, like an Easy-Bake Oven.

This is the awkward part of the show’s season, when Gordon Ramsay stops yelling and actually becomes civil, and suddenly the show seems like it might actually be about some kind of talent after all. As usual, the show will conclude with the two finalists running their own restaurants, which will be staffed by previously eliminated contestants who hate them and/or resent being back, and who will bring the necessary drama so we don’t confuse the show with a serious attempt to gauge the finalists’ skills as chefs.

How did Bonnie end up in the final two instead of Jen? And who will win? Gordon Ramsay tells USA TODAY, “Bonnie has a phenomenal palate. Chefs across America would love to have what she can taste — a natural ability to connect with food. Rock is determined and can cook really well. However, he is bad-tempered, so can he run a brigade? Can he inspire? The two finalists deserve to be where they are. The end is always a tough call. For one, it’s the end of a dream, and for the other, it’s just the beginning.”
