Miami Dolphins will be on Hard Knocks

The Miami Dolphins have accepted NFL Films’ offer to be followed by the HBO series Hard Knocks, following several teams publicly rejecting the series, which did not air a season last year.

HBO’s press release said that the Dolphins are “a venerable franchise that had an exciting off-season activity” and noted that it will be “the first time that the series has featured a first-year head coach (Joe Philbin).”

ESPN reported that the New York Jets, who previously appeared on the series, were among the teams to say no this time.
