Lego-themed reality shows are in development

Producer Scott Messick, who’s executive produced shows such as Shaq vs. and Pros vs. Joes, is developing several shows all centered around Legos, from competitions to docudramas.

Among the series is a docudrama about “three Connecticut-based Lego Masters, who travel the world building massive sculptures for the company out of Legos,” and possibly a competition set at Legoland, a theme park, according to Variety.

Although they’re developing a film and TV, Messick said that before he met with them, “I don’t think they were thinking about reality TV. They were focused on their feature business, but (Lego VP Jill Wilfert) liked the idea of going into reality.”
