ArchivesLifetime has picked up a new docusoap like The Hills that will be set in Washington, D.C., and star socialites from that area. More significantly, the network will reportedly pair it with Project Runway 6 this November, airing the new half-hour series after Tim Gunn and company, although that pairing seems to make little sense.
PB&J Television has been pitching the series, and now “Lifetime has picked up the show and filming begins in September,” Examiner’s Yeas & Nays blog reports. “Casting hasn’t been finalized, according to one source, but the primary characters — local socialites/hotties/20-somethings Katherine Kennedy, Krista Johnson and Sophie Pyle — remain on board. Johnson’s younger sister, Alexa Johnson, will also play a role in the show, most likely, although she and the show are still working out specifics.”
Krista told the site about the show in July, when it was still searching for a network. The production company most recently produced Miss America: Reality Check for TLC, and prior to that did shows such as Dress My Nest.
