ArchivesShaquille O’Neal will star in a reality series this summer, although unlike most other celebrities’ shows, it won’t follow his life.
Instead, the untitled ABC series “focuses on the Miami Heat center embarking on a campaign to help Florida elementary and junior high school kids lose weight,” Variety reports.
During the six-episode series, which is currently being filmed in Broward County, “O’Neal will interact with the kids as he encourages them to stay on their regimen,” according to Variety.
This show appears to be the second weight-loss reality show ABC is planning for this summer; last week, the network announced plans to air a US version of the UK series Too Big to Walk?.
