VH1 shot a pilot for America The Ugly with The Agency’s Becky
VH1 has produced a pilot episode for a new reality series called America the Ugly.
The series is “said to be inspired, in a roundabout way, by ABC’s hit” Ugly Betty, Radar reports. Its “premise: What happens when unattractive women are thrown into the high-glam environment of the fashion and modeling industries?”
The show’s cast includes Becky Southwick, who was part of The Agency’s cast before she was fired/left for another agency. She basically thought every potential model was ugly, and let them know in her own Gordon Ramsay-ish way, so perhaps she’ll be berating women—or perhaps she’s one of the unnatractive woman, because let’s be honest, she’d reject herself immediately.
Becky tells Radar that a pilot was produced, but she knows nothing beyond that. “I’m not even confirmed for it, anyway, so I don’t know what’s happening with it. I’ve got other things of my own going on,” she said.
