ArchivesVH1 will air a competition for a telenova star, and the winner will receive a role on a Telemundo show, while the network has also renewed two reality series, one old and one new.
Viva Hollywood! features “12 bilingual Latino and Latina contestants [who] will learn the ‘7 Deadly Sins of Telenovelas’ — passion, lust, charisma, drama, fire, seduction and scandal — in order to impress the judges: actress-singer Maria Conchita Alonso and singer-songwriter Carlos Ponce. Astrologer Walter Mercado will give the contestants guidance,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
VH1 has also ordered a new season of ego trip’s The (White) Rapper Show, which aired last spring. The new season, debuting this spring, will feature women and be called ego trip’s Miss Rap Supreme. And the sixth Celebrity Fit Club “will star former cast members returning to compete with a new group of celebrities,” according to the paper.
