ArchivesParis Hilton’s friend Kim Kardashian will star in a new “comedic reality series” for E!, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The as-yet-untitled series will be produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim-Murray, the company responsible for E!’s now-cancelled Simple Life.
The new “series also will star Kardashian’s ‘Brady Bunch’-style family,” including her sister, Kourtney, who previously appeared on Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive. There’s no word about whether the “comedic” part of the “comedic reality series” description means the new series, which debuts this fall, will be as fake as The Simple Life.
Ryan Seacrest said, “At the heart of this series — despite the cat fights and endless sarcasm — is a family that truly loves and supports one another. The familiar dynamics of this family make them one Hollywood bunch that is sure to entertain.” And Jon Murray said, “We’re honored that E! and Ryan Seacrest chose Bunim-Murray Prods. to help fully realize the potential for this truly inspired series idea. We had a blast working with E! on ‘The Simple Life,’ and with Ryan’s company added to the mix, it will be even more exciting.”
