viewers try for their own reality series on MTV; VH1 series focuses on models’ agents.

MTV is bringing back its celeb series Meet the Barkers, and giving those desperate for their own reality series a chance to win their own show. The latter is the creatively titled Reality Show, which “features viewers auditioning to star in their own reality show,” Variety reports. No other details were offered. The network is also importing a UK series called Bad Dads, Phat Mums, which Variety says “centers on two fans aiming to re-create a musicvideo by their favorite artist—using their moms and dads as stars.” And the network is making room for yet another dating series, Parental Control, “which allows parents to choose dates for their kids in the hopes of getting rid of a current significant other.”

Over on VH1, which recently picked up the rights to rerun Top Model, the models’ reps are now getting equal time. VH1 has ordered 10 episodes of The Agency, a series that follows agents at Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. A press release says the 10-episode series “gives viewers a first time ever look at how the modeling industry actually works and the real relationships that exist between the agents and talent—both good and bad.” It debuts this fall.
