ArchivesThe Travel Channel is looking to get some airline reality action along with Frontier Airlines, the airline that paints animals on its planes’ tails. The Rocky Mountain News’ Penny Parker reports that “Frontier Airlines and the Travel Channel are in serious talks about a reality show focusing on the airline’s flight attendants.”
Parker reports “that filming could start next week for the 18-show series on the cable network, which will follow flight attendants through their training. My source says the guys and gals will live together, with cameras placed everywhere, a la Big Brother.”
Denver-based Frontier confirmed this; a spokesperson said only that they “are indeed talking to the Travel Channel about a reality TV show.” A&E has aired three seasons of Airline, which is more of a documentary that follows the crew and passengers of Southwest Airlines.
