At a press tour party last week, Mark Burnett told the Toronto Sun that Canada is still a likely location for a future season of Survivor. The paper reports that, “When and if it happens, Burnett hinted that it will likely be somewhere in the mountains of British Columbia. He’s interested in an ice cap area as a winter version.” Burnett also said that areas affected by the tsunami were under consideration as well: “We spent quite a bit of money and effort looking into the Indian Ocean (area). We scouted Sri Lanka and were in negotiations with southern India.”
Meanwhile, as if the appearance of former Survivor cast members on The Weakest Link a few years ago wasn’t sad enough, some cast members apparently taped appearances on Family Feud over the weekend. That’s according to the calendar on Christa Hastie’s web site; she was, you may or may not recall, a cast member on Survivor Pearl Islands.
