Atlanta will host The Real World 16, radio station Q100 reported today.
Rumors about the location of the sixteenth season of The Real World have been floating for a while now, with places such as Houston being mentioned as a possible location. This morning, however, Atlanta’s Q100 reported on The Bert Show that Atlanta will be the site of the next season, blogger Mark Richards reveals. He writes,

According to the morning show, they were at a casting call event (I think) here in Atlanta last night, and the “Real World” producers were attending as well. The producers said that the show’s 16th season will be taking place in Atlanta, that the cast has almost been finalized, and that the living space has not be officially selected yet, but they are looking for a loft possibly in Midtown.
Atlanta has been mentioned as a possible location before, most recently in this Chicago Tribune column, and a year ago at beonrealitytv.com. Right now, Bunim-Murray is still casting for the show, with mail-in applications due Oct. 15 and open casting calls scheduled for this weekend and next.
