Britney’s fiancees’ ex wants a series; Sean Hayes show will search for the next sitcom.
Two more well-known people are getting into the reality game. First, Will and Grace star Sean Hayes will produce a Project Greenlight-type series for Bravo. On Situation: Comedy, Hayes tells TV Guide that they will “shoot two sitcom pilots, and have America decide which one they want to see go to series. But it could hit or not. I mean, who knows! It’s just fun trying.” Writers who want to compete and submit scripts can apply at Bravo.com between now and Sept. 18. … Second, Britney Spears’ fiancees Kevin Federline’s ex-girlfriend, who’s gave birth to his second child eight days ago, and who’s a former star of the UPN series Moesha, wants to chronicle her trials and tribulations in a half-hour, comedic reality series. According to Variety, Shar Jackson “is teaming up with a trio of producers to pitch a … show [that] would be a half-hour, semi-comic docusoap following Jackson as she works to get back into music and acting while raising her newborn son and the 2-year-old daughter she had with Federline.” One of the producers said that they want Britney’s future husband to be on the show: “Kevin was there for the delivery, and he’s going to be a part of the baby’s life.”
