Five people with alternative lifestyles—a blood-drinking vampire, a voodoo priestess, a Wiccan, a modern primitive, and a nudist/Buddhist—will live in a house with 10 people who are competing for $100,000. The “alts,” as USA TODAY calls them, aren’t just there to scare the crap out of the contestants, but also to run contests and vote one of them off the show each week. Mad Mad House debuts March 4 on the Sci Fi Channel and will air 10 episodes. It’s produced by the company behind Paradise Hotel.
