NBC will air Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit competition as a reality series that will leave the winner up to viewers. Sports Illustrated’s Fresh Faces Competition (Yeah, faces. Right.) is a six-week “series [that] will run just before the Feb. 15 release of the issue itself,” and “will illuminate contestants’ personalities and stories, as well as the ways that winning could change their lives,” The New York Times reports. Viewers will vote for the winner, who gets the cover of the swimsuit issue and $1 million. Elsewhere, Spike TV is adding to the Vegas reality offerings with The Club, a 10-episode series that starts Oct. 12 and, according to Reuters, “will chronicle the goings-on at a dance establishment in Las Vegas” called ICE. Heineken and Allied Domecq Spirits will provide sponsorship and lubrication. A press release runs down the people who will be featured on the series, and they include club owner Ed and DJ Paul Oakenfold.
