casting for NBC’s Fame begins Thurs.
NBC is turning the film Fame into a reality TV show, which will be called, oddly, Fame. Judged by Fame film and TV show star Debbie Allen, the show will look for “multi-talented performers (ages 16 and up),” according to an NBC press release. Auditions begin Thursday in Miami, and continue on to New York, Chicago, and LA. Those who audition must perform a preapproved song. The show is produced by Stone-Stanley and will debut this summer.
