Six sets of child actors and their families will be the stars of a new show VH1 is planning called Stage Moms. Presently the network is casting LA and New York families for a two week pilot shoot; if successful, they’ll cast families everywhere for the series, which is expected to be shot over seven months. The show is “[s]aid to resemble the Bravo reality series The It Factor,” backstage.com reports, and “is about what stage mothers go through in their lives, professionally—as well as how this professional life influences their personal lives.”
