The crumbling Mir space station, although it will be the site of the finale of Mark Burnett’s Destination Mir next fall, may come down in January. According to the New York Post, “Russian officials are planning to bring down the Mir space station from its orbit and crash it into the ocean in February.” Which would not be a good thing for the NBC series.
