One of the two UCSC fraternity members charged with killing and grilling and eating a decades-old koi plead guilty “to grand theft and vandalism” Friday. Matthew Cox now “faces a possible two years in County Jail on the misdemeanor charges,” according to the Santa Cruz Sentinel. He was a member of Delta Omega Chi fraternity, which was featured on MTV’s Fraternity Life: Santa Cruz. Meanwhile, the other student charged didn’t show in court Friday, and MTV videotape has led to charges against pledges Jordan Trigg and Jonathan Bermudez.
