Buffalo Zoo is pressing charges against fence-hopping Fraternity Life pledges.
For the second time in a week, the men of MTV’s Fraternity Life are in trouble for actions featured on the series. This week’s episode showed Tim, Steve, and Earl jumping the fence at the Buffalo Zoo as they contemplated stealing one of the animals (subtitles detailed the criminal penalties for such an action). Although they didn’t take an animal, the zoo is pressing charges. A statement released by the zoo and reported by the paper says “[t]he illegal actions taken by these three young men could have seriously endangered not only the zoo’s animals, but the individuals involved. We cannot stand by and allow this type of incident to happen without consequences.” The Spectrum reports that the pledges have yet to be arrested or charged. Earlier the fraternity was suspended because of suspected hazing.
