Archivesis production on Forever Eden finished?
Forever Eden, the show that was pitched as an indefinitely airing reality TV soap opera, may have concluded production in Jamaica. In the Jamaica Observer, the country’s film commissioner says, “Having completed the initial season, the producers commented to us that they were blown away by the level of expertise available to them in Jamaica. This augurs very well for succeeding shoots as the other companies always refer to the previous experience before making their own final commitment.” The article also uses the past tense, referring to “the initial series shoot” and says the show “was shot in Port Antonio.” Later, however, it makes references to the “open-ended” and “indefinite” format. FOX ordered 25 episodes of the show (just five have aired already), and with dismal ratings leading to yet another schedule change—the show is moving to Friday nights at 9 p.m. ET starting this week—perhaps the plug was pulled.
