This is what we’ve come to: Mothers defending their daughters’ slutty behavior on reality TV shows. Although Kassie Miller’s mother watched “her daughter wake up in bed with a man she met only days before” on Forever Eden’s second episode, her mother says nothing happened. “I know my daughter, and she’s 21 and regardless of how that looked, there wasn’t anything further. To put it bluntly, I know my daughter didn’t have sex with that guy,” Deborah Miller tells the Decatur Daily. Yes, 21-year-old women never ever sleep with guys they just met, especially on trashy reality TV shows. Kassie’s mother prefaces her insistence that they didn’t get it on by saying, “I’ve watched enough TV, and you know what’s said at the time or the way it may look could be pieced together and not be what happened at all.” Yeah: They were probably just playing Tiddlywinks under the covers.
