For Love or Money

Rob’s statement: “I do plan to continue in the private practice of law.”
In a four-sentence statement released by NBC, For Love or Money’s Rob Campos says, without providing any context, “I was never an employee of the Mathur law firm; I worked with them as an independent contractor. I rented space at their office in Dallas and did not receive a salary. I also maintained my own set of clients. Although I will no longer be associated with that firm, I do plan to continue in the private practice of law.” NBC previously released a statement from the network that quotes Rob saying, “I have acknowledged that I behaved inappropriately.” For its part, the network says the info about the incident “would have been material information during the screening process” but says only that “NBC and Nash have completed production of the show. The actions of the participants were carefully monitored throughout the production. NBC and Nash only learned about the incident on Friday.”
