Flavor Flav wants to go back to high school for a reality show, of course

Flavor Flav wants to go back to high school to get his diploma—for a reality TV show, of course. In Clinton, Iowa, WQAD reports that “a battle is brewing between the Clinton school district and reality star Flavor Flav,” who dropped out of high school in 10th grade and “is willing to pay students after class to film the show all the while encouraging them to stay in school.”

But Flavor Flav Goes Back To High School may not happen; school superintendent Deb Olson told the station that the reality show would cause a “substantial disruption to the school day” and wants Flavor Flav to find a way to do his show and “not have an adverse affect on students.”

Flavor Flav said, “I want this show to be able to influence people my age, that if you dropped out of high school when you were young it’s never too late to go back to get your diploma … There’s not a lot of people that dropped out of high school that was as fortunate as me to make it into the entertainment business and make big bulks of money.”
