ArchivesTwo years after NBC burned off episodes of Fear Factor and then cancelled the show, its host says he did the show only for the money, and that it was “boring.”
Joe Rogan told The Denver Post, “I enjoyed the money, but I didn’t enjoy doing the show. It was boring, and after a while, it was mindless. It’s not something I would look forward to, but it was a great paycheck.”
He’s now focused on stand-up. “I love performing, working on bits, honing them and seeing them evolve and grow. I don’t ever think of it as work. As a career and as far as what I’m known for, it’s that other stuff, but it definitely enhances my comedy,” he said.
