The 200th and final episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition airs tonight on ABC, as the series has been cancelled—though a few episodes will be burned off/air as specials sometime in the future. Series host Ty Pennington is moving on to the daytime series The Revolution.

Tonight’s two-hour episode follows the crew as they create seven homes in seven days in tornado-ravaged Joplin.

This retrospective video is a reminder that, however over-produced and overly reliant on Sears appliances it was (and how it made a weird argument that happiness comes in the form of excessive consumerism), the show did a lot of good, and managed to bring communities together to help their neighbors.
