ArchivesDancing with the Stars 7 starts its there-episode (!) debut week tonight, and by next Monday’s episode, two pairs will have been eliminated.
First, there’s a two-hour episode from 8 to 10 p.m. ET tonight, and another two-hour ep Tuesday night at 9, which will feature both an elimination and performances. Wednesday’s hour-long episode at 8 will be a standard time-wasting elimination episode.
Besides the 13 quasi-stars, there are also two new professional dancers. Among the stars, Lance Bass seems to be the favorite, for reasons Newsday’s Verne Gay runs down here.
But beyond those, Lance is paired with So You Think You Can Dance finalist Lacey Schwimmer, who not only has her own fan base from that show, but also knows how to dance, just as Lance does (or did). They may be unstoppable, although they are going up against Cloris Leachman, so all bets are off.
