Dancing with the Stars 6
The Bachelor 12

ABC debuts sixth Dancing with the Stars, 12th Bachelor tonight

Tonight, ABC kicks off new seasons of its two reality staples. First, Dancing with the Stars 6 debuts at 8 p.m. ET, and will air Mondays at 8 and Tuesdays at 9. No one will be eliminated until next Tuesday, when two couples will go home. Shocking!

What’s truly shocking is that the cast includes a surprisingly well-known group of people this season. They include Priscilla Presley, Marlee Matlin, Monica Seles, Steve Guttenberg, Penn Jillette, Adam Carolla, and Kristi Yamaguchi. It will not, however, feature pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who’s taking a break.

After six of those celebrities do their first dances with their partners, ABC will kick off The Bachelor 12 at 9:30. It’s actually the 15th season of the show, if you count the three Bachelorette seasons (the fourth Bachelorette debuts this summer). After last season’s double-rejection, the season is going to have to deliver some love to its rabid, irrational fans.

The new bachelor is a 27-year-old British financier, which is why ABC has creatively subtitled the show “London Calling.” We’ll see if any of the women take the call; those 25 bachelorettes include Shayne, who’s Lorenzo Lamas’ daughter.
