ArchivesThere’s more than a month to go before the debut of Dancing with the Stars 6, but anonymous sources are busy providing tabloids and other publications with the names of the alleged cast, even though others haven’t had much success with that in the past.
Priscilla Presley “has signed on, or is close to signing on,” E! Online’s Marc Malkin reports. He also says “former Dynasty costar Joan Collins was in talks for some time with Dancing producers, but a deal was never made.”
Brady Bunch mom and frequent reality show guest Florence Henderson will appear, according to The National Enquirer, while In Touch Weekly says Marla Maples, perhaps best known as Donald Trump’s ex-wife, will compete. Tennis player Monica Seles and actor Cheryl Ladd may also appear, TV Guide said in a recent issue.
Interestingly, all of the names that have been floated so far are of female celebrities, although that probably means nothing. Once celebrity who says she’s out of the running is Mira Sorvino, whose management thinks she’s too good for the show.
