“From what they’re putting on the message boards, [viewers] feel so bad — they felt I had it in the bag and they didn’t’ feel they needed to vote for me. They were trying to help someone else stay on the show,” Sabrina told the Orange County Register.
After hearing that she’d been eliminated, Sabrina said she first had “a moment of feeling like I failed everyone and didn’t’ live up to expectations and the level that Mark and I set for ourselves. I apologized to him, and he apologized to me, and we finally went, ‘You know what, no, we are not going to let this put any kind of damper on the performances we gave. We went out there and worked hard every week and kicked butt.”
Backstage after the results show, Sabrina’s competitors were also shocked. Mel B. told TV Guide, “I think there should be a recount.” And her partner Maksim said, “It’s crazy.”
