ArchivesIan Ziering has recruited Jennie Garth, one of his former 90210 cast members, to join Dancing with the Stars 5, and one of the Spice Girls is also reportedly participating.
In Touch reports that she “was nervous at first about dancing on the live show, but Ian … talked her into it.” Ian tells the magazine, “We texted each other back and forth.”
That’s confirmed by her publicist, Nicole Nassar, who told Access Hollywood, “it’s official.” Access notes that, earlier this year, they asked Jennie about the possibility of joining the show, and she said, “Don’t even say it, no. I can’t imagine for my sake and all of America’s sake, it would not be good.” Interestingly, Ian and Jennie’s 90210 co-star Tori Spelling was rumored to appear on the show last month, but there’s been no word since an OK! magazine report.
Meanwhile, Scary Spice, aka Melanie Brown, will also join the show. Her spokesperson told the Irish Examiner that “Mel’s been busy with the US version of Strictly Come Dancing and her daughters.” Strictly Come Dancing is the name of the UK version.
